A love note to Napoli. Naples.
A love note to the time where I wore a dress every single day-one like this, with a short skirt, and open hair.
This city is magical. It’s lud and huge and dirty and full of garbage, excuse me, but it is also full of wide-hearted people, full of open smiles and ancient history. I am such a geek. We waited for a bus for twenty minutes and then decided to walk. We went to Pompeji and it was everything I had hoped for. We didn’t acknowledge the time there enough, K and me, I think, because our minds were set on France.
But still, my heart flew open there. I want to go back soon, so very soon. I want to see my beautiful host family that had a talent for not buckling their seatbelts and cooking the. most. amazing. food.
I loved the Mozzarella, the Pizza and the Italians. But what I loved, too, was going there with such wonderful people, people that make me happy. Thank you for that. This is a love note to you, too.
